Nana & Gramps by Pink Reptile and Little Green Frog Designs
Kit: Nana & Gramps by Pink Reptile and Little Green Frog Designs
Layout: meeting maama
I love the theme of this kit. You dont see many out there. I especially love the grandma & grandpa graphics. Sadly, but also luckily, neither of my kid's grandparents have grey hair yet. Sad because I cant use them for pages yet!
Some of my favorite moments are introducing my new baby to their grandparents. There is just something special about that moment.

Bloopers { the kit } by Pink Reptile & Studio 68 & add on kit
Kit: Bloopers { the kit } by Pink Reptile & Studio 68 + add on kit
Layout: silly auntie
You know you take them. You know, the not so cute shots. The candids that are a little too candid. Dont be ashamed! Sometimes those are some of the funniest photos! They aren't always the prettiest to scrap with, but that is why this kit is so awesome. It is BEGGING you to scrap those pictures. Title says it all.
Trying to make Quinn smile isn't the easiest, but you have to give Auntie Krystal and A for effort! Actually Quinn is reaching for me, which combined with Krystal's expression is priceless. Love it. Love them.

A slight detour! -- A Blues Clues birthday party!
I know this isn't scrapbook related... but we had my son's 2nd birthday party this last weekend. He actually doesn't turn 2 for a few more days, but with the holiday we had to celebrate early.
Eventually you will see these as a scrap layout, but I just wanted to share because I worked really hard on it all!
Blues Clues cupcakes in the making. I am using royal icing and the template from Nickjr.com to make these. I had to do this twice... my first attempt was less than glamorous. So practice made perfect!
One of the items for the goodie bags... blue candies.
Because Blues Clues isn't "in" right now... there were no party bags, plates etc that I could buy- unless paying extra online (not to mention shipping) was the direction I wanted to go. So I decided to just make my own bags and turn them into an activity. So I looked up pictures of the characters online and freehand drew them onto the bags. Then the kids were able to decorate their bags.
My birthday boy
And big brother. I found Blues Clues stickers at the local dollar store. The kids had fun with those!
And the cupcakes finished product!
I wanted the cupcake cups to be vibrant and not washed out like cupcake cups usually get... so I baked them in plain white ones and just placed them into the fun blue/green cups after they were baked.

Decorations... this is one of my favorite parts of a party because the kids always love seeing the house decorated for them. Quinn was really excited when he woke up and saw it all.
I wanted the little ones to be able to play pin the paw on Blue... And Nickjr.com has a print out you can use for this, but my printer sucks. So I ended up just drawing Blue on a poster board and doing it that way. Not beautiful, but it works.
We also played Blues Clues with the kids. I made them all handy dandy notebooks and they ran around finding paw prints (also thanks to Nickjr.com). Somehow I didn't end up getting a photo of the finished notebooks and we were too busy running around finding clues in order to take pictures of the kids doing it. They had a blast though. They especially liked being able to figure out what Blue wanted on their own.
Seth wants a Lego party for his birthday... so stay tuned in a few months for that!

ColorFIX Mellow Yellow Dig-ETTE-al Kit
Kit: ColorFIX Mellow Yellow Dig-ETTE-al Kit by Fay-ETTE designs
Layout: ray of sunshine
It was love at first site. Seriously. I LOVE this kit. Everything about it. Everything. The colors, the clouds, the flowers, the papers. Everything. My new favorite kit. It was actually intimidating trying to come up with a layout with this kit because I love it so much.
But really?? when I found these photos, the inspiration came. I had seen this awesome paper layout months ago that had the title "you make me happy when skies are grey" and it was really awesome. As soon as I saw this kit, and these photos... I knew I had to lift that layout. See the original here
Anyways, I digress. Quinn used to stick his tongue out to crawl. He also had that slight bow legged bull dog crawl... so the combo of the two was too cute for words. Dontchyathink??

Just Lovely by 2 am Designs
Layout:Just Lovely by 2 am Designs
Layout: Seth's pumpkin
So if you haven't been keeping up with my blog... I love pennants. They are the new "in" thing. Normally I am not a huge fan of fads, but this is one fad that I gladly follow. The colors in this kit are really perfect for this season!
Seth's pumpkin... 'nough said right? We got pumpkin picking every year before Halloween. Last year this is the pumpkin Seth chose. He definitely needed daddy's help getting this one back to the hay bail ride!

Gratitude - Full kit by K Studio
Kit: Gratitude - Full kit by K Studio
Layout: Tuck
Guilty. I totally snatched up another K Studio kit. This one I especially love. I dont know if it is the colors or the delicate elements that I love more. The red, the black, the aqua... LOVE it. Seriously gorgeous kit.
My cute little Tuck. He is half Yorkie, half Maltese. Unfortunately he doesn't have the same coloring anymore. When he got his first hair cut he lost all of that beautiful puppy coloring. But he is still super cute, just lighter. Don't you just want to squish him!?

Kit: Relative - Full kit by K Studio
Layout: brotherly love
K Studio is the guest designer this month at Pickleberrypop!! How exciting for me! I love her stuff. The preview of this kit is almost overwhelming because of how many fun elements are being shown. It is packed full of fun. I love the little family paper cut outs. They didnt have a two boy family or I would have been all over that!!
Another nice day at the park. Seth being the awesome big brother that he is, is giving Quinn a push on the swing. What a sweetie!

Mother's Love Kit by LorieM Designs
Kit: Mother's Love Kit by LorieM Designs
Layout: being your mom
This kit is a beautiful tribute to Lorie's mom. And seriously, how beautiful is this?! The colors are so calm and warm and inviting. It really does feel like a mom's kit.
I actually really love these photos of the boys. There are more in this series but I cant put them all into a layout... so I had to pick a few of my favorites. It seriously makes me so happy to see my boys playing nicely or loving on each other. Moments like those make me so proud to be their mommy.

Kit: With Love by t for me designs
Layout: xoxo
My new favorite color combos are grey and pink & grey and yellow. So in love with the colors of this kit!! I think the black contrast against the heathered colors looks really nice. This is a small kit, but a lot of fun.
I dont know how many series of shots I have of Quinn like this....where he is giving a totally different expression each time. Expect many more like this!

Creepy Crawly Kit by Digi Junkie
Kit: Creepy Crawly Kit by Digi Junkie
Layout: halloweeny
I love the color hues in this halloween kit. If you have seen a lot of them, you will know that they all seems to have the exact same color schemes/hues. So it is nice to see one that isnt run of the mill. The elements are great. So much fun.
This is last year. The first time making up costumes for both boys. Seth wanted to be a knight, so we made his little brother the kind :) It was fun making their costumes.

Totally Autumn Dig-Ette-al Kit
Kit: Totally Autumn Dig-Ette-al Kit
Layout: pumpkin pickin
I love everything to do with Autumn. The milder weather, the colors (especially the colors), the holidays, the flavors, the foods, etc etc. So it stands to reason that I love Autumn kits as well! This kit is so much fun!! Fayette has such a great design.
Pictures are from last years pumpkin patch trip! Quinn's first time! He had a lot of fun being propped up by the big pumpkins. The weather was perfect for pictures!
