The pennant flags drew me to this kit. I dont know what it is about them, but they draw me in every time. I love the new fad. I also adore the more antiqued colors, it helps subdue the usual vibrant reds and blues of most 4th of July kits.

I think this was the first year we went to my sister's for the 4th. It was the beginning of a new tradition. I was pregnant with our youngest at the time and I remember being really uncomfortable with the weather and laying out on the grass watching the firework show- but it was fun regardless.
